{"id":2543,"date":"2021-10-03T11:44:03","date_gmt":"2021-10-03T19:44:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/systemsolver.com\/StatlerBlog\/?p=2543"},"modified":"2021-10-03T11:44:03","modified_gmt":"2021-10-03T19:44:03","slug":"onedrive-reinstall","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/systemsolver.goodhealthyday.com\/StatlerBlog\/2021\/10\/03\/onedrive-reinstall\/","title":{"rendered":"OneDrive reinstall"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Stop and start OneDrive in batch file or command line<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Select Start (Windows icon) or the Search icon<\/li>\n<li>Type &#8220;OneDrive&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Right-click OneDrive and select Open file location<br \/>&#8212; This brings you to C:\\ProgramData\\Microsoft\\Windows\\Start Menu\\Programs<\/li>\n<li>Right-click on the OneDrive.exe file and select Open file location<br \/>&#8212; This brings you to C:\\Program Files\\Microsoft OneDrive<br \/>&#8212; This is where the OneDrive.exe file is<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Create a batch file with this<\/p>\n<pre>cd \"C:\\Program Files\\Microsoft OneDrive\" &amp;&amp; OneDrive.exe \/shutdown &amp;&amp; timeout \/t 15 &amp;&amp; OneDrive.exe &amp;&amp; exit<\/pre>\n<p>Edit the part &#8220;C:\\Program Files\\Microsoft OneDrive&#8221; to where the OneDrive.exe file is for you, if it&#8217;s not in this location.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reset OneDrive<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Reset will not remove all settings but will completely resync<\/p>\n<pre>C:\\Program Files\\Microsoft OneDrive\\onedrive.exe \/reset<\/pre>\n<p>Edit the part &#8220;C:\\Program Files\\Microsoft OneDrive&#8221; to where the OneDrive.exe file is for you, if it&#8217;s not in this location.<\/p>\n<p>==========================<\/p>\n<p><strong>Completely uninstall, remove files and reinstall OneDrive<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>First a note on a difficult problem<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>onedrive wasn&#8217;t syncing the office documents.<\/p>\n<p>I repeatedly tried resetting OneDrive.
