Allow ping in Win10<\/strong><\/p>\n

Open a command prompt as administrator<\/p>\n

  1. Search for cmd program<\/li>\n
  2. Right click cmd.exe<\/li>\n
  3. Select ‘open as administrator’<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Copy and paste the following into the window that appears.<\/p>\n

    netsh advfirewall firewall add rule name=\"All ICMP V4\" dir=in action=allow protocol=icmpv4<\/code><\/p>\n

    \nRight click item and select ‘enable rule’<\/p>\n

    2. R-click NeoRouter connection<\/li>\n
    3. Click on Configure button<\/li>\n
    4. Choose Advanced tab<\/li>\n
    5. Choose Media Status<\/li>\n
    6. Change the dropdown list on the right from “Application Controlled” to “Always Connected”<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      For RDP<\/strong><\/p>\n

      The following only works if Win10 Pro which allows remote desktop<\/p>\n

      netsh advfirewall firewall set rule group=\"remote desktop\" new enable=Yes<\/code><\/p>\n
