Damn Microsoft to &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Access 2000 on a workstation wouldn&#8217;t access the back end files on another xp pro sp2 computer. This happened sometime between Friday August 10 , 2007 and the following Tuesday. It worked fine before the not at all.<\/p>\n<p>The solution I got from Incognito at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mcse.ms\/message959052.html\">http:\/\/www.mcse.ms\/message959052.html<\/a><\/p>\n<pre>To disable the warning start the Group Policy Editor (Start &gt; Run, type\n\n-gpedit.msc- and press OK) and go to:\n\n-User Configuration &gt; Administrative Templates &gt; Windows Components &gt;\n\nAttachment Manager- then set -Inclusion list for low file types- to\n\nEnabled and enter the file types you don't want to be warned about in\n\nthe box (for example: -.htm;.exe-).<\/pre>\n<p>Thank you Incognito<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What a stupid mess.
