I got an invitation for tonight to attend the Ashland-based Oregon Shakespeare Festival<\/a>‘s 2004 production of King Lear<\/a>. I think I’ll get a “Cliff’s Notes<\/a>” version of the play to scan before I see it tonight. <\/p>\n

Shakespear is so dense in thought-provoking dialogue that I have a hard time following any of the plays…my mind starts down tangents and then remembers I’m watching a play and by then, of course, I have missed some dialogue. All of that tangential stuff is good, I love it, but I would like for once to be able to remember what the play is about, at least generally.<\/p>\n

So, I decided to do a Google search on “King Lear”<\/a> and almost immediately found what appears to be a nice set of notes to help the first-time student or adult reader, “Enjoying ‘King Lear'”<\/a>
