Problem: Win7 or Win8 wireless fails to restart after sleep or hibernate.

Setting the card connection speed to 100Mbps Full Duplex resolved the issue, so my problem appears to have been the auto-negotiate failing.
I changed the network speed selection from Automatic to 100mbps Full Duplex, and also switched off the option to slow the connection on standby/hibernation.
Go into Device Manager. Double click on Network Adapters to show yours. Right click on your network adapter and select Properties. Click on the Advanced tab and select Wake On Settings. Change the setting to OS Controlled and click OK.
Left click on the multibar, wireless icon in the system tray.
Right click on the network name; that will bring up a pop-up with three options. Select “Properties”.
Select the “Connection” tab. ; that will bring up the properties box. Previously this only had the “Connect automatically when this network is in range” box ticked. Yesterday I also ticked “Connect even if the network is not broadcasting its name (SSID)”.
1. Go to Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections.
02. Click on Change Adapter Settings.
03. Right Click LAN and then click on Properties.
04. Press Configure Button and then the Power Management Tab.
05. Uncheck Allow the Computer to turn of this Device to save Power.
There must be a setting in bios to wake up lan OR WOL, enable to wake up by mouse or key, if its not contact your MB provider for a bios update to include this feature, there are downloads. I suspect when sleep mode is activated there is nothing to wake up your lan card. YOU could try to refresh your network card rather than reboot.
Goto, Right click on network, Change adapteer settings, right click on ethernet, properties, click on configure, advanced, scroll down to bottom WOL speed change to 100/mbs, Make sure wake on is set to enabled, or go to power management and uncheck (Allow the computer to turn off tihis device to save power

A) You may also try this:
1. Click Start, right click Computer and choose Properties.
2. Click Device Manager.
3. Navigate to your network adapter, right click it and choose Properties.
4. Choose Power Management tab.
5. Uncheck “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.”
6. Restart the computer and test this issue again.
B) Use Device Manager to verify that your network adapter is working correctly and reinstall the drivers:
You must be logged on as an administrator to perform these steps.
i. Open Device Manager by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance, and then clicking Device Manager. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
ii. Expand the Network Adapters section, right-click your adapter and then uninstall it
iii. Restart the computer, let Windows 7 detect the driver and install by itself.
If that does not help, install the latest version of the driver from the manufacturer’s website.
