Generic keys are below. I’m trying to reverse this from home to pro. The license is for pro but home was installed. trying to fix that.
went to start/settings/upgrade & security/activation/go to store
when at store click “i already have a key”
use the generic key for pro VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T
The above worked.
Allow remote desktop
Start – search for < allow remote >
Enable remote desktop connections
To see current registration info —
with admin privileges
slmgr /dlv

Start Regedit then go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion
See keys EditionID and ProductName
Change to:
EditionID: Core
ProductName: Windows 10 Home
